Step #1 | Age Definitions & SportsEngine
Determine your athlete's age division eligibility by visiting the link below. Athletes are eligible to tryout / join older age group teams, but can not participate with a younger age group then they are eligible for.
STEP #2 | USAV Tryout Membership
Complete a USA Volleyball Junior Tryout Membership, $15.00. Record the member # in the appropriate tryout registration field. Once you have completed this step, move on to Step #3.
Step #3 | Tryouts Registration
Click the link below to begin the registration for Tryouts and Assessments. If your athlete would like to be considered for an additional age group, we prefer that the athlete register for the youngest eligible age group, and inform Staff when arriving for tryouts.
Step #5 | Tryout Preparation
Verify that you have completed all steps in Sections 1 thru 3 above. You must bring completed and signed copies of the required documents and waivers with you to the tryout.
The Auburn FielhouseUSA doors will open 10 minutes prior to the scheduled tryout session time. Come ready to play in athletic attire and with non-marking court shoes. NO GUM ALLOWED IN THE FIELDHOUSE.

Girls Club Teams Info
We plan to form up to 4 Girls teams in each age group U10-12s to U16s, and up to 3 teams in the 17s & 18s age group. We are also offering 1 team of U14, U16 & U18 boys. Kraken teams train at our home, the FieldhouseUSA in Auburn with hardwood courts and on-site fitness facilities. The Auburn FieldhouseUSA is located on the very North side of the Outlet Collection Mall. Make sure to read up on our club team programs, and pick the one that make the most sense for your family.
BOYS CLUB TEAMS INFO
Kraken will field U14, U16 & U18 Boys teams. All boys teams train at our home, the FieldhouseUSA in Auburn, located on the very north side of the Outlet Collection Mall. Tryout Selection, Offer & Signing Process
- Applicant athletes will run through a series of drills to evaluate their volleyball skills
- Invitations to join Kraken are extended based on athlete’s skills assessment, improvement potential, and positional fit based on the pool of athletes.
KRAKEN WILL
- Extend offers in writing using the PSR Letter of Commitment
- Kraken will give the athlete up to 72 hours to reach a decision
- Kraken will not rescind an offer before 72 hours
ATHLETES MAY
- Accept on offer immediately and complete PSR Commitment Letter
- Remit the signing and uniform payments upon acceptance
- Decline an offer immediately
- Exercise their right to a 72 hour decision period
- Not complete more than one PSR Letter of Commitment
